Runnymede Trust is looking to recruit an enthusiastic intern to assist with an new project looking into the impact of the government’s Open Data agenda on BME organisations, communities and individuals. Main tasks will involve researching and writing a discussion paper on Open Data and its impact on BME communities and organising a seminar on the issue.
The project is being run in partnership with the Social Policy Research Centre at Middlesex University.

A number of research reports emerging from the PROSINT (Promoting Sustainable Policies for Integration) European research project are now available online. The project included case studies on the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and the UK. The research on the latter country was lead by Middlesex University (Eleonore Kofman, Elena Vacchelli and Alessio D’Angelo).

This research report maps the characteristics of Enfield Citizens Advice Bureau’s clients and explores their needs and the impact of CAB services on their lives. The report also identifies challenges and opportunities faced by the organisation and, more generally, by local third sector service providers in the changing funding and policy environment.
